An Hour of Power With Political Influencers
Last year, two high-profile, Bay Area-based public affairs consultancies, Barbary Coast Consulting and Goodyear Peterson Hayward, merged to form Lighthouse Public Affairs.
At our February 28 lunch meeting, two of the three founding partners, Alex Clemens and Boe Hayward, will share “war stories” from the field. These include managing press for Sully Sullenberger in the aftermath of the “Miracle on the Hudson” to, most recently, helping a group of French nuns preserve their soup kitchen in the Tenderloin. Clemens and Hayward will also peer into the Bay Area’s political crystal ball and tell us what we can expect from the seismic changes taking place in Washington, D.C.
Alex Clemens operated Barbary Coast Consulting for 13 years before launching Lighthouse Public Affairs with Hayward and lobbyist Rich Peterson. Clemens was at the forefront of the blogging revolution, aggregating local political news at sfusualsuspects.com, which he personally oversaw for more than 20 years.
Lighthouse co-founder Boe Hayward joined Goodyear Peterson in 2012 after serving as chief of staff to San Francisco Supervisor Bevan Dufty.
Join us on Tuesday, February 28 for an hour of power with these veteran political influencers.
