The secrets and challenges of international PR campaigns
The complexity of global public relations is a topic David Landis is passionate about. At our September meeting, fellow PRRT member will reveal the ins, outs – and a few secrets – of implementing and managing an international public relations campaign.
David’s firm, Landis Communications, Inc., has been the San Francisco member agency of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) for nearly a decade. This year, he was elected president of the network, which provides clients with international reach and local market expertise in worldwide markets.
PRGN harnesses the resources of nearly 50 independent public relations firms, 65 offices and more than 900 communications professionals to connect international companies and organizations with individual and culturally diverse markets globally.
The network has more than 1,000 clients across six continents who depend on the combined resources of the PRGN to deliver targeted public relations campaigns in 80-plus markets around the world. With revenues of more than $110 million (U.S.D.), PRGN is among the world’s top five public relations networks.
In addition to heading his own firm and the international Public Relations Global Network, David has also served as an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University.
To guarantee a seat you must make your reservation via Eventbrite, by midnight, Thursday, September 19 – or until limited reservation slots have been filled. Why? Once we place our final order with the hotel, the PRRT must pay for all reserved meals. So, do not delay. Vegetarian meals can be accommodated ONLY if requested ahead of time. No changes allowed except for health reasons.
Lunch reservations must now be prepaid
For faster luncheon check-in, reservations for luncheons must be pre-paid online via credit card. Only reservations booked online will be accepted. Lunches for members are $39 plus processing fees and for non-members $49 plus processing fees.
Please arrive early. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the program starts immediately at noon.
