From Start-up to Leader in Cloud Computing
Here’s your chance to learn what it’s been like to lead the communications strategy for Salesforce from its days as a small start-up to the $5 billion revenue company it is today.
Jane Hynes, Senior Vice President, Global Communications, joined the company over 11 years ago. Her counsel and direction have been integral to establishing the company’s leadership in the cloud computing industry. She’s successfully managed its IPO, launched the international communication operations and elevated CEO Marc Benioff as the chief evangelist for social and mobile cloud computing. Hynes also plays a key role with the customer, analyst, financial and internal communications teams.
San Francisco Public Relations Round Table member, Stephanie Clarke, will talk to Jane about how her job has changed since the start-up days and the various types of PR isssues she deals with today. They’ll discuss PRForce, the app Jane has created for PR agencies and companies to manage multiple teams efficiently and share best practices. They’ll also leave time for your questions.
Jane Hynes held PR roles at OutCast Communications and Hamilton Ink before joining Salesforce. During her tenure at Salesforce, Hynes has received many accolades including PRWeek Small Corporate Communications Team of the Year in 2005 and being named to the PRWeek 40 under 40 list in 2010. In addition, she was named by ExecRank as #39 on their 2012 Top Communications Executives Ranking and Holmes Report In2′s Innovator 25 in 2013.

Reservations for luncheons must be pre-paid online via credit card. Only reservations booked online will be accepted. Lunches for members are $40 plus processing fees and for non-members $49 plus processing fees.
