Pearson Education has just published the 8th edition of Public Relations Writing & Media Techniques by PRRT member Dennis L. Wilcox, professor emeritus of PR at San Jose State University, and his co-author, Bryan Reber, University of Georgia. The textbook, published by Pearson in its Revel series of e-textbooks, is used in almost 250 universities and colleges.
In January, Wilcox will begin working on the 3rd edition of his textbook, Think:Public Relations, that is also published by Pearson. “The Think book is a lot of fun,” says Wilcox, “because it’s a magazine format that looks like a fat edition of Vanity Fair.
