It’s been a big year in Bay Area sports, so who better to have at our September meeting than award-winning sports writer Ann Killion! Just back from Rio, Ann will talk about her experiences covering the Olympics, the Warriors’ amazing year, highlights covering the 49ers, Giants, Sharks and her perspectives on the Bay Area sports scene.
Named 2014 California Sportswriter of the Year by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, Ann has covered Bay Area sports for more than two decades. An award-winning columnist and a veteran of the past 10 Olympics, several World Cups and the Tour de France, Ann joined The Chronicle in 2012.
