A New Way To Showcase Bay Area Businesses
Looking for a unique way to put local clients in the spotlight? ABC7′s William Patterson and Maggie McCarthy Baxter will introduce us to the new weekly half-hour ABC7 program, Bay Area LIFE, that takes viewers around the Bay Area to celebrate and share what makes this beautiful place we live in so fabulous.In each show, Bay Area LIFE explores our neighborhoods for the latest finds in food, fitness, entertainment, décor, fashion, culture, technology, and travel. The show is interactive, enabling viewers to connect with the show and tell the producers how they love to play around the Bay. The show airs Sundays at 6:30 p.m. and provides promotional opportunities for sponsors, including content input and spokesperson interviews.
William Duncan Patterson IV is the Vice President of Multi-Platform Business Development for ABC7 KGO-TV, part of the Disney ABC Television Group. Combining a mix of marketing strategy and business development, William works with companies large and small, anchor institutions, and non-profits to develop partnership & marketing opportunities, while focusing on their mission and priorities.Maggie McCarthy Baxter has been producing a wide variety of local programs and specials for viewers in the Bay Area for more than 24 years. After working in the newsroom at WHDH in Boston for 3 years, Maggie moved to San Francisco in 1991 to work as an Associate Producer in KGO-TV’s Programming Department. Since then, she has moved into her role as Executive Producer overseeing the development, creative and editorial content, budgets, and staffing for all programs produced by the Local Programming Department.
